The People Behind Shumona Vintage World
Shumona Vintage World is led by co-founders and husband-and-wife duo Shubham Goswami and Monika Goswami (ShuMona), whose shared passion for craftsmanship and quality guides every aspect of the brand.
Shubham, Lead Strategist, oversees sourcing and curation, ensuring every saree and vintage piece meets strict standards of quality and authenticity.
Monika, Head of Quality Control, brings over 13 years of experience in the Indian fabric industry and personally hand-selects every piece for quality, craftsmanship, and durability.
Together, they curate each item with care and intention — offering pieces chosen not for trends, but for their ability to last, inspire, and be cherished.

After sourcing, every item undergoes a thorough inspection. We examine fabric condition, construction, stains, wear, and exact measurements. These checks ensure transparency and help us write accurate, honest product descriptions.
3. Photography & Editing
Each piece is photographed in detail to reflect its true colour, texture, and condition. Editing is kept minimal to maintain authenticity and set clear expectations.
4. Detailed Descriptions
We write thoughtful, detailed descriptions for every item, including measurements, condition notes, and styling possibilities — so you know exactly what you’re choosing.
5. Thoughtful Listing
Once ready, items are listed on our website and selected marketplaces, clearly marked as one-of-a-kind and never restocked.
6. Final Quality Check
Before shipping, we conduct one last quality review after an order is placed to ensure the item matches the description and is ready for dispatch.
