Stunning Very Hand Embroidered Bagh Phulkari Blue Colored Chiffon Dupatta/Stole. Dupatta Has Floral Design With Blue Sequins & Blue Thread Work Is The Highlight Of The Dupatta. Golden lace work on borders. The Thick Stitches Of Phulkari Make The Pattern All The More Emphasized. Further Enhancing The Beauty Of The Dupatta. A very traditional dupatta with beautiful craftsmanship which I am sure you will truly appreciate.
BAGH PHULKARI:Over time, special phulkari patterns known as Bagh emerged in Punjab. In typical phulkari, embroidery is used sparingly to beautify the fabric while in Bagh, the embroidery covers almost all of the fabric. This is all done by hand is very time taking. Due to its finesse and the time it takes to create Bagh, this was done mostly done by grandmothers for girl childs. When a girl child is born, the women of the family organize a great feast, marking the beginning of the task of the child‘s grandmother in creating the future bride‘s trousseau.
