BAGH PHULKARI:Over time, special phulkari patterns known as Bagh emerged in Punjab. In typical phulkari, embroidery is used sparingly to beautify the fabric while in Bagh, the embroidery covers almost all of the fabric. This is all done by hand is very time taking. Due to its finesse and the time it takes to create Bagh, this was done mostly done by grandmothers for girl childs. When a girl child is born, the women of the family organize a great feast, marking the beginning of the task of the child‘s grandmother in creating the future bride‘s trousseau.
