We Are Offering You A Vintage Gray Color 100% Pure Woolen Stole/Shawl Which Adorns Hand Embroidered Kantha Work. The center part & borders of this shawl has fully covered handmade Kantha embroidery which is embellished with floral design. The shawl has matching fringes on both ends of borders.. This cozy, warm and fuzzy stool is soft against skin due to the mellow woolen fabric. A truly gorgeous piece which will also make an admirable gift.


KANTHA:Kantha is a hand embroidery style traditionally practiced by rural womenfolk in state of West Bengal. Kantha embroidery is recognized by running stitches. The usual Kantha stitch is done in straight or horizontal lines but artistic Kantha styles emerged over time where floral or religious symbols were also depicted in Kantha embroidery.
Kantha is mostly practiced on pure silk, Crepe or Cotton Saris. A single Kantha sari can take as many as 4-5 days of work for 5-6 women of a house working together.
